Highlights

The coastal and desert regions outside Lima offer a world of outdoor adventure away from the city, but complex bus systems – and, for some visitors, the language barrier – make exploration a challenge. On this full-day excursion, travel comfortably from your Lima hotel and reach Paracas and Huacachina with ease. Discover native marine life in the Paracas National Reserve and try sandboarding on the largest sand dunes in South America.

Day 1

Ica Huacachina Oasis

6.00 Hrs. Report to Avenida Javier Prado Este 1109 La Victoria (alt. Clínica Ricardo Palma) – Cruz del Sur Agency. 6.30 Hrs. Departure to Ica. 11.00 Hrs. At the agreed time you will be picked up from the bus terminal in Ica and transferred to your hotel. 12.45 Hrs. You will be picked up from your hotel to start a City Tour to Ica and visit the Witch of Cachiche and the Tree of 7 Heads, guided tour, pick up and transfer to hotel. Hrs. Visit to a winery: We will visit the artisanal vineyard El Catador where the grape brandy, known as Pisco, is made.

We will have an explanation of the elaboration of wine and Pisco guided by an experienced worker of the winery.
We will taste different types of Pisco, wines and the traditional Cachina.

Hrs. Visit to Huacachina Oasis..: Then we will go to Huacachina Lagoon. We will enjoy the wonderful sunset in the Iquitos desert. Asimismo, podremos disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar caminando por los alrededores, también si lo deseamos podremos pasear en botes (opcional). Afterwards, we will live an adventure through the Ica desert aboard tubular cars and practice the famous sport of sandboarding (optional). If you are passionate about extreme sports, you can waste adrenaline practicing trekking, mountain biking, rafting (canoeing), zip-lining (Canopy) in Cusco 10.30 Hrs. (Aprox.) Day 2

Ballestas Island / Paracas

06:45 Hrs. Pick up at Hotel Ica to be transferred to Paracas. 08:00 Hrs. We will depart in modern boats to the Ballestas Islands.

On the way to the islands we will observe El Candelabro located in the bay of Paracas and a small guano dock.
We will observe the diversity of the marine fauna that inhabits here such as: Pelicans, Humboldt Penguins, Dolphins, Sea Lions, Red-crowned Gallinules, Guanayes, Boobies and Blackbirds.

(Those who choose to stay in the port of El Chaco will be able to stroll around this beautiful beach resort and visit its small handicraft fair). 11:00 Hrs . Walk through the Paracas National Reserve, where we will appreciate the famous “Cathedral”. This impressive rock formation is 28 to 40 million years old and resembles, as its name suggests, a gigantic cathedral. The partial collapse suffered in the earthquake that devastated Pisco in 2007 has not limited the majesty of the landscape that can be seen from there. As well as the red beach, Lagunillas, where we can take a swim. 15:00 Hrs. End of tour Transfer to the bus terminal. Return to Lima. END OF OUR SERVICES
